Deborah A. Lowry, DMD


Biography

Dr. Lowry was born outside Chicago and relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1991. She graduated from Northside Christian High School in 2006 and pursued her collegiate studies at University of Florida. In 2010, Dr. Lowry graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Sciences in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Despite out of state options, she chose to continue her dental education with the Gator Nation at the University of Florida.. Following graduation, Dr. Lowry attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the University of Florida in Seminole, Florida. She worked along side various specialists and gained valuable experience in advanced dentistry aspects such as occlusion, TMJ disorders, dental implants, periodontal surgeries, prosthodontics, and endodontic procedures. Through her experience with the residency and attendance at multiple continuing education courses, Dr. Lowry attained a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Throughout the past year, Dr. Lowry has undergone over 120 hours of continuing education in Implant Dentistry alone. Dr. Lowry is also certified in Intravenous Sedation, Oral Sedation, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. In an interest to her passion for comprehensive dentistry, Dr. Lowry has completed the Dawson Academy Seminars on smile design, esthetics, and treatment planning. She is also certified to provide Invisalign treatment. Dr. Lowry is currently pursuing her Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, Christian Medical and Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Pinellas County Dental Association.

As a St. Petersburg native, Dr. Lowry is an active member in her community. Her interests include swimming, golfing, spending time with her family and cheering on the Gators!
